July’s Summer Reading Challenge is to read a Douglas Preston novel. We’ll focus on The Lost City of the Monkey God to read a true story about the discovery of an ancient indigenous city hidden in the Honduran jungles. Or, you may choose to explore Preston’s fiction works with Detective Pendergast, solving mysterious, cryptic crimes from the past.
